Continuous work type sandblasting machine is liked by some industries due to its high working efficiency. Continuous work type sandblasting machine is the most widely used in the current shipyard segment coating workshop, and its traditional control process is shown in Figure 3. During sandblasting operation, the lower bin is kept under pressure and the upper bin is added with sand. When the upper level detector sends out a full bin signal, sand addition is stopped. After the lower level detector sends out an empty bin signal, the upper bin blocking valve rises and keeps under pressure, the lower bin blocking valve automatically falls, and the abrasive in the upper bin automatically falls into the lower bin. This process is controlled by a timer. When the timing time is up, the exhaust pressure is up, the upper bin is released and sand is added again. Before the improvement, the capacity of the upper bin of the sandblasting machine is required to be smaller than that of the lower bin, so that the level of the abrasive in the upper bin is lower than the lower end surface of the blocking valve after falling to the lower bin, so as to ensure that there is no abrasive in the rising process of the blocking valve, thus protecting the blocking valve and the sealing ring. Due to the small capacity of the upper warehouse and the frequent sand addition, the wear of the sandblasting machine is increased. When starting up and using each time, air leakage often occurs due to lax sealing of the lower bin blocking valve. This is because there are abrasives in the upper and lower bins during the last shutdown. After the pressure is released, the lower bin blocking valve falls down and the upper bin abrasive falls down. The lower bin blocking valve is submerged in the abrasive. Abrasives are sandwiched between the blocking valve and the sealing ring, resulting in eccentric lifting of the blocking valve, thus causing air leakage and preventing the sandblasting machine from working, at the same time, it also increases the wear of the sealing valve and the sealing ring. In the operation process, the time for adding sand from the upper warehouse to the lower warehouse is controlled by a timer. The timing time should be appropriate. It is not only necessary to ensure that the abrasive from the upper warehouse completely falls into the lower warehouse, but also to ensure that the abrasive is supplied continuously in a cycle. Therefore, the timing time should be accurately determined.
Principle before improvement of sandblasting machine 1
The control process of the improved continuous work type sandblasting machine is shown in Figure 4. First turn on the air source of the sandblasting machine to inflate the lower bin, the lower bin blocking valve rises, then turn on the power supply of the sandblasting machine, the sand adding valve opens, and sand is added to the upper bin. When the material level meter of the upper bin sends a full bin signal, stop adding sand and inflate the upper bin, the upper and lower bins are combined into one. With the sand blasting operation, the lower bin material level drops. When the lower bin material level detector sends out the empty bin signal, the upper bin stops air intake, and at the same time the exhaust pressure is relieved. The lower bin blocking valve rises, and the lower bin pressure can continue operation. After the upper bin is relieved, the blocking valve falls down, the sand filling valve opens, and the upper bin enters the charging state. When the upper bin material level detector sends out the full bin signal, the sand filling signal, the sand filling stop and the continuous operation is repeated.
The improved sandblasting machine increases the capacity of the upper warehouse, reduces the number of sand addition and 4000, and reduces the wear of the sealing valve. After the upper bin is filled with sand, the upper bin is kept under pressure, and the lower bin blocking valve falls down. When the lower bin blocking valve rises again, the lower bin is empty, thus ensuring that there is no abrasive material in the rising process of the blocking valve, no air leakage caused by eccentricity when the blocking valve rises, and also reducing the wear of the blocking valve and sealing ring. When the upper bin is filled with sand, the upper and lower bins are combined into one, without timer control, and the action is simpler.
Principle before improvement of sandblasting machine 2
The structure and control process of the sandblasting machine have been improved, and it is also very important to improve the control program. Engineering and technical personnel must pay attention to the following problems when writing the program.
(1) The collected signal of the material level detector must be filtered. When the material level detector sends out a signal and keeps it for 2s, it will be regarded as a valid signal to avoid misoperation.
(2) It is advisable to set the exhaust time of the upper warehouse for 30s, which can be adjusted according to the capacity of the upper warehouse.
(3) After the sand valve is closed, delay for about l0s before flushing the upper warehouse to ensure that all abrasives have fallen into the upper warehouse when the sealing valve rises. In addition, some auxiliary functions are added in operation, such as each sandblasting machine can be initialized separately, and each sandblasting machine can be interrupted to add sand, etc., which is convenient for operation and maintenance. If the machining accuracy and assembly accuracy of the parts of the sandblasting machine cannot meet the requirements, it will also cause the sandblasting machine to not work properly, which should be paid attention.
